Born in July 1946, Manny Pangilinan graduated cum laude from the Ateneo de Manila University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He received his MBA degree in 1968 from the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Procter & Gamble Fellow.

Antonio “Tony” Meloto leads “Gawad Kalinga” - a growing global movement involved in building holistic and sustainable communities for a slum-free, squatter-free nation. He travels the Philippines and the rest of the world spreading the blazing spirit of heroism amongst Filipinos and non-Filipinos alike.
He graduated from Ateneo de Manila University in 1971 with a degree in AB Economics. After a stint in Procter & Gamble, he became an entrepreneur before he turned to a life of service through Couples for Christ. His journey led him to the poor community of Bagong Silang in 1995 where Gawad Kalinga was born. |

Bienvenido F. Nebres, SJ is the President of Ateneo de Manila University He will talk about the preparations leading to the commemoration of the Sesquicentennial or the 150 years of Jesuit presence in the Philippines.
The sesquicentennial is an occasion to remember and celebrate the Ateneo legacy.It is divided in the themes for this three-year countdown using the words of the alma mater song.

Sen. RICHARD GORDON
Dick Gordon completed his high school and BA degree at Ateneo de Manila University.In 1975, he graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Laws at the University of the Philippines College of Law.
From 1992-1998 he was the Founding Chairman and Administrator of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority, a brainchild of his that gave new life to the city after the dismantlement of the US Military Bases in 1991. In 1987, Gordon was elected governor of the Philippine National Red Cross. He was elected into the Philippine Senate in the 2004 general elections. |
